How to Start Reselling
How to start reselling with $0: sell one thing you already own. (Even if it means losing money. Hear me out.)
If you were my best friend, this is where I'd tell you to start.

Sell one thing from your house.
- 1Find something you never use. A hat. An old game. A tool. A small appliance.
- 2Take a clean picture. Your phone is fine. Don't make this complicated.
- 3Post it on Facebook Marketplace. Price it to sell and answer the first real buyer.
You can sell it for $10. You can sell it for $1. The point is to stop reading and actually do it. (90%+ of people reading this will never even get this far.)
Once you've made your first sale, you'll want to learn how to find something worth reselling.
If you make one penny, you're in business.
It doesn't matter if you make one penny, one dollar, or one hundred dollars. You bought something, or you already owned it, and you sold it for a profit.
That's the process. If you can do it once, you can learn to do it again.
Something is only worth what somebody will pay for it.
A $400 retail price doesn't make an item worth $400. A $250 Facebook Marketplace listing doesn't make it worth $250 either.
Look at recent sold listings for the same item. That's the closest thing you have to the real market value.
See how to check the valueMost people will read this and do nothing.
Don't be one of them.
You don't have to be smart. You don't have to be experienced. You just have to take the first step and post one item.
Start with one itemYou're not smarter than technology. Stop wasting your time and hoping to get lucky.
The best resellers are all using tools and networks to find their deals. There's a reason the same people are finding better deals than everyone else.

Use Deal SoldierI founded Deal Soldier and co-founded Turbo Search. I'm recommending the same tools I use.
I've resold just about every way you can.
I've resold things in the newspaper, in parking lots, online, and through websites I built. I've imported pallets and private labeled my own products.
This guide is the easiest way to get started.
